Job Role:

The Warehouse Keeper is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and movement of merchandise within the warehouse. This role ensures accurate receiving and dispatching of goods, proper inventory control, and timely distribution of products to retail stores while maintaining high standards of organization, safety, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming merchandise against delivery documents.
  • Label, store, and organize stock according to company standards and retail categories.
  • Prepare and dispatch goods to retail stores based on transfer orders and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in regular stock counts and audits.
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Ensure proper handling of seasonal, promotional, and high-value items.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order within the warehouse at all times.
  • Coordinate with logistics, retail, and merchandising teams to support store operations.
  • Comply with company policies, health & safety regulations, and retail procedures.
